These past few weeks have been very eventful for New York City between Hurricane Sandy and an early Nor-Easter storm. But weather didn’t stop the industry from coming to the city to experience the very popular ad:tech New York. Marketers and thought leaders gathered to share insights on the ever-changing digital marketing world. It was no surprise that mobile was one of the most covered topics during the many sessions and expositions that took place. Participants discussed a wide range of recent trends and advancements, from better methods to engage mobile users to effective mobile ad targeting.
After days full of information-packed sessions, ad:tech participants look forward to attending the many informal networking opportunities that are organized around the conference. While many events were canceled due to weather, we were very lucky to have hosted over 150 publishers, partners, agencies and advertisers at the trendy SL Lounge in New York’s Meatpacking District last night.
The event was also a great opportunity to rally and raise money for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. We set up a Red Cross donation and are happy to say that we pulled together over $1,000 from attendees, which we matched for a total of over $2,000 raised!
