Introducing Inventory Segments for Demand Partners

This week, we are excited to roll out enhancements to the MoPub Demand Platform to give demand-side partners even more control over the inventory they receive.

Our partners are now able to create Inventory Segments, allowing them to more clearly define what inventory (and how much of it) is meaningful to them. With access to more granular controls, partners can maximize the value of every bid request, reduce operational costs from unnecessary requests, and better fulfill individual campaign goals.

Connecting you with the most relevant supply
DSPs can create multiple segments with any combination of ad format, ad size, device type, or location, so our partners receive the traffic that matters most to them. DSPs also benefit by minimizing unnecessary bid requests by setting QPS limits that reduce the number of timeouts and ensure their bandwidth is allocated to the inventory they care the most about.

The next evolution of filtering and throttling
Developed based on customer feedback, these controls will allow DSPs to be even more efficient with how they buy inventory on MoPub.
