We were excited to be in NYC this week to catch up live with many of our east coast clients and to sponsor the first ever AdMonsters Ops Mobile event at the Metropolitan Pavilion. We spent the day with the hundred fifty top tier ad operations executives in attendance, many of whom have recently joined our platform with the launch of MoPub Marketplace. Our own fearless leader, Jim Payne, reminded us of how far we’ve come since the days of desktop advertising and mobile web and introduced Brandon Lucas, VP and GM of Mobile at BET. Brandon blew away the crowd with live demos of the 106 & Park app’s unique engagement and monetization techniques, while Jim moderated Brandon’s Q & A.
Other highlights include great presentations from Razorfish’s Head of Mobile Paul Gelb and Howie Schwartz from OfferMobi, and traditional players including Doubleclick.
After an action-packed day of talks and presentations (special thanks to the AdMonsters team for a fantastic event), we hosted the after-after drinks at nearby Rye House with fellow mobile junkies and friendlies. The turnout could not have been better – Rye House was literally bursting at the seams with publishers, partners, the AdMonsters team, and other event participants.
