We’re pumped to announce two new members to our rapidly growing business development team: Dan Sack and Phu Tran. Dan and Phu will be helping Kevin meet the increasing needs of publishers, advertisers and DSPs from both our east and west coast offices, respectively.

In their own words:

Dan Sack

My name is Dan Sack. I was born and raised in Bethesda, MD and studied economics at Harvard, where I had a tremendous experience and grew infatuated with the world of tech startups. My summers were spent in a variety of ways – researching the DC commercial real estate market, launching a digital advertising company, and teaching English to children in Beijing. Prior to MoPub, I did merchant sales at Next Jump, where I was responsible for securing exclusive discounts and favorable commission terms from national retailers. Although I hope to one day spend time living out west, I’ve fallen in love with NYC – the energy in the town is incredible and contagious. I could not be more excited to be joining the phenomenal people at MoPub, and look forward to working with some of the foremost innovators in the mobile advertising space. Exciting times ahead!

Phu Tran

My name is Phu Tran. I’m originally from the Bay Area, but I spent the past year and a half living in Singapore, working for Yahoo! Southeast Asia where I was helping to drive the overall Ad Network strategy and establish publisher and data partnerships. Prior to this international experience, I was working at Yahoo! HQ in Sunnyvale doing optimization strategy and advanced targeting on some of Yahoo!’s largest DR campaigns. My digital media life began at BlueLithium, a startup that was acquired by Yahoo!. My friends know me as a travel-holic, I’ve been to 11 different countries in just the last 12 months. I’m thrilled to join theMoPub SF-based team as the first UCLA Bruin!

Welcome to the team, rainmakers!
