Some say the Bay Area is having an engineering drought right now (among actual droughts in Tahoe…), which is why we’re happy to say that we’ve continue to grow our stellar development team faster than I can put these blog posts up. MoPub welcomes yet another hacker extraordinaire, Peter Linnartz, to the very talented team that we have here.
In his own words (seen here doing ‘blue steel’):
My name is Peter Linnartz. I grew up in Durham, North Carolina and graduated from Duke University in 2010. During my time at Duke and for a year and a half after, I worked for a biotech startup, Advanced Liquid Logic, in Morrisville, North Carolina. There I came to love the startup environment and realized I wanted to focus solely on software engineering. I knew the Bay Area was the place to go, and after hearing rave reviews about MoPub from my friend John Peña , I visited San Francisco for the first time and met the MoPub team. In addition to falling in love with the city, I was instantly drawn to the team’s fun-loving but hard-working vibe and obvious desire to build an exceptional product. I’m excited to join the team and work to improve the frontend to make our users’ experience even better. I love playing competitive ultimate and cheering on my Blue Devils, and I’m looking forward to exploring all the hiking, camping, skiing, rock climbing, and kayaking the west coast has to offer!
Peter joins our front end team and likes to rock out while coding. We’re growing like weeds and have no shortage of roles for talented people, so check out our open positions or just shoot us a note firstname.lastname@example.org .
